Hands Can Talk
The objective of this project was to illustrate an allover composition. At the time of the project, the class was in the hands unit and several weeks were spent doing studies on them. During this extensive unit, I began to really appreciate semiotics and the way that people all over the world could easily communicate by using simple hand gestures. It was also fascinating looking at all the different poses a hand can do, and how they can say a lot without saying anything at all.

Wash Your Hands!
The objective of this project was to create a piece that was relevant to the times. At the time, the pandemic had just started and lockdown had moved all classes online. Since COVID was still relatively new and everybody was taking precautions, washing your hands was being heavily emphasized in order to stay safe from the virus. It was (and still is) of great importance to wash your hands and use sanitizer at all times, so that was the inspiration behind this piece.

Smiley Faces
The objective of this project was to create something to design our kiosk with for the senior portfolio presentation day. I chose to have this allover design as my personal branding because smiley faces were something fun that I always doodled throughout my time in school. I also made them into stickers and left them on my kiosk for visitors to take along with my business card.
Superhero Design
The objective of this project was to create a superhero based on assigned superpowers which were chosen randomly by the Professor. The two powers I got were detonation and cutting rifts in space and time. I created this blue alien-like being which has the ability to time travel and create energy blasts from his hands.

Kill Bill Poster Redesign
The objective of this project was to choose a movie and recreate a poster for it in our own style. Being a Quentin Tarantino fan, my initial concepts were for Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and Kill Bill. After several thumbnails, Kill Bill ended up being the movie of choice for this project. I chose to depict the scene where The Bride (played by Uma Thurman) faces off against O-Ren Ishii and the Crazy 88. This fight scene was reimagined in a more cartoonish style in order to be as different as possible from the actual film.
