Hands Can Talk
The objective of this project was to illustrate an allover composition. I chose to depict a range of hand poses because I was studying semiotics, the study of signs and their meanings. Hand gestures felt especially compelling, because people across different cultures are able to communicate through simple hand movements.

Wash Your Hands!
The objective of this project was to create a piece that was relevant to the times. The pandemic had just begun and lockdowns had shifted all classes online. I remember when COVID-19 was still relatively new, the news urged everyone to frequently wash their hands and keep distance from others to reduce the spread of the virus.

Superhero Design
The objective of this project was to create a superhero based on randomly assigned superpowers. The two powers I got were detonation and time/space manipulation. I created this blue alien-like being with the ability to time travel and shoot energy blasts from his hands.

Kill Bill Poster Redesign
The objective of this project was to choose a movie and recreate a poster for it in our own style. I wanted to depict the scene in Kill Bill where The Bride faces off against O-Ren Ishii and the Crazy 88. I chose to reimagine it in a cartoonish style and developed a blood splattered typeface as well .
